Journalists found out that the QA contractor deceived the developers of Cyberpunk 2077, the Square Enix Montreal studio was renamed Onoma, and Cloud Imperium Games shared statistics on Star Citizen – we tell you what happened in the gaming industry this weekend.
The PC Gamer portal talked to employees of the Romanian company Quantic Labs, which helped test Cyberpunk 2077. They admitted that the organization really misled CD PROJEKT RED. For example, she did not say that only a third of the testers involved in the game had experience in QA, and that no more than a year. During conversations with CD PROJEKT RED, testers were asked to avoid questions about their experience. According to the testers, the authors of Cyberpunk 2077 did not receive the level of service they paid for.

The developers of Chivalry 2 reported that the audience of their game has grown by more than 500 thousand people in four days. This was achieved thanks to the appearance of a medieval action game as part of the Game Pass.

The studio also noted that in 2022, an average of 50 thousand people began to play in Star Citizen every day (several times the audience exceeded 130 thousand people).
