Sony is not sure about the long-term success of the multiplayer The Last of Us, according to journalist Jason Schreier. According to him, the company decided to revise the concept of the game, but did not cancel the project itself. While she is thinking about what to do with the game, the team responsible for The Last of Us has been greatly reduced, and many specialists have been transferred to other projects. On May 27, Rayark published an official statement in which it denied rumors of layoffs. She admitted that she is exploring the possibilities of AI, but she is not doing it to the detriment of employees: the studio has not fired a single artist since it started using neural networks.
