Rebel Wolves reported on the successes of their first project, clarifying why Xbox Cloud Gaming is no longer unlimited, and the creators of Puzzle & Dragons have had a quarter of their company acquired.
- The Blood of Dawnwalker sold over 1 million copies worldwide within three days of its release. Rebel Wolves, founded by former Witcher developers, announced this over the weekend through their social media. Additionally, during the weekend, the game's peak concurrent online players on Steam reached 70,000.
- The recently set limit of 15 hours for Xbox Cloud Gaming for Game Pass Ultimate subscribers is not accidental. According to an unnamed source that spoke to Windows Central, this is the break-even threshold. Any further use of the service by subscribers results in a loss. Contributing to the decision is the company's current shortage of server memory amidst investments in AI.
- Sony Music Japan acquired a 23.29% stake in GungHo Online Entertainment, which gained fame for Puzzle & Dragons — one of the first mobile battlers and also one of the first mobile titles to earn over a billion dollars. A quarter of the company cost Sony's division 28.64 billion yen (approximately 185.2 million dollars).
