The critics didn’t like the stealth action The Lord of the Rings: Gollum. It took the last two lines in the list of the lowest rated games of 2023 according to Metacritic.
At the time of writing the news, the PS5 version of The Lord of the Rings: Gollum is ranked 296th. She was rated 38 out of 100. The PC version is not much better — it is located on the 295th place with 43 points out of 100.
Critics scold The Lord of the Rings: Gollum for almost all aspects of the game: a boring plot, flat and repetitive gameplay, outdated graphics and numerous bugs. But there were also advantages. For example, the press reacted well to the duality of Gollum’s personality and his internal conflict with Smeagol.
