The Chinese microblogging service Weibo has published a list of games, hashtags with the names of which most often fell into the trends of the site in the first half of 2023.

Honor of Kings became the leader, — the hit from Tencent was marked in the trends 134 times. Two places in the top five went to the games of miHoYo at once. Genshin Impact took the second place with 95 hits in the trends, and Honkai: Star Rail took the fourth place with 60 hits.

Also, the trends often included games of The Legend of Zelda series (a total of 62 times), Light and Night (56 times), Onmyoji (48 times), Arknights (35 times) and Goose Goose Duck (33 times).

Separately, Weibo named the most discussed gaming events of the half-year. They were the releases of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and Honkai: Star Rail, the surge in popularity of Goose Goose Duck and the breakup of the partnership between Blizzard and NetEase.
