In the first five days of sales, God of War Ragnarök sold 5.1 million copies.
According to Sony, previously no game developed by one or another of its internal studios was sold out at the start so quickly.
Recall that God of War Ragnarök, created by Sony Santa Monica, was released as a PlayStation exclusive on November 9 (sales figures are relevant for November 13, although Sony has shared data only now).
The game is a direct sequel to God of War (2018), whose total sales have now reached 23 million copies.
