Bungie CEO Pete Parsons wrote on X (former Twitter) that his studio had indeed cut some of its employees. He stated that this is a sad day for Bungie.

Parsons called the dismissed outstanding specialists who have made a huge contribution to Bungie's games and culture. He did not specify how many people left the studio.

It is known that among those fired were Bungie's chief development strategy manager Alex Bujold, co-head of the department for work on accessibility in games and community manager Liana Ruppert, as well as the head of the department for work with social networks Griffin Bennett. They told about their dismissal in X and LinkedIn.
