In total, the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences of the USA, responsible for the Grammy Awards, has added six new nominations. The game is called “The Best Soundtrack for video games and other interactive Media”. What exactly the organizers mean by interactive media is not explained.
Other new nominations:
▪”Songwriter of the Year (non-classical)”;
▪”Best Alternative Music Performance”;
▪”The best performance in the Americana style”;
▪”The best album in the style of artistic recitation”;
▪ “The best song about social change”.
The awarding of prizes in all these categories will begin in 2023.
