From April 9 to 13, 2026, the original Graveyard Keeper was available for free on PC and consoles. As announced by tinyBuild's CEO Alex Nichiporchik, the giveaway led to a sharp increase in sales of the game's add-ons.

According to Nichiporchik, in just five days on Steam alone, add-ons generated almost $250,000. Additional revenue was earned in the PlayStation Store and Microsoft Store, but tinyBuild does not yet have exact figures for that. Regardless, Nichiporchik is pleased with these results.

“Many asked if it was worth giving away such a game for free. […] Yes, it makes sense if you have many add-ons,” stated the tinyBuild CEO.

Additionally, Nichiporchik boasted that the upcoming Graveyard Keeper 2 continues to actively gather wishlists. It has now surpassed 450,000 additions to wishlists, although just a day earlier it was reported to be “only” 400,000.

To recap, the first Graveyard Keeper was released in August 2018 and is currently available on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch, and mobile devices. The sequel is expected to be released by the end of 2026.
