The core of the Cartel Tycoon development team has moved to a new independent studio. It's called Mind Control Games.

This was announced on his LinkedIn page by Leonid Gorbachev, who previously held the position of head of Moon Moose.

According to his post, Mind Control Games was founded by the same five people who originally stood at the origins of the previous company.

The reasons why they decided to leave Moon Moose, which has been owned by tinyBuild since February 2021, are not mentioned.

It is also unclear what specific titles the new studio will deal with. She is currently looking for investors and a publisher.

Cartel Tycoon

A month ago, Moon Moose, together with the porting studio Pushka Studios and publisher tinyBuild, launched the console version of Cartel Tycoon.

For reference, this particular project was handled by a studio founded and previously based in St. Petersburg.

The early Steam release of the game took place in March 2021. A full—fledged one will be there in July 2022. The game has about 2,400 reviews with a base price tag of $30.
