The controversial 110 Industries is getting better. An investment company with Russian roots has announced a significant addition to the board of directors.
Trip Hawkins, who previously founded Electronic Arts, 3DO, and Digital Chocolate, joined him as an adviser. He was also a strategic advisor at companies such as KIXEYE and Skillz.
What exactly Hawkins will do in the company is not reported. Also, Trip himself has not updated his LinkedIn page yet, so the only source of information is the Twitter feed of the company itself.
Recall that to date, 110 Industries has attracted more than $ 30 million for the development of eight games. One of its significant investors was Roman Abramovich’s firm Norma Investment.
Despite the fact that the company has been operating since 2017, it currently has no published games in its portfolio. However, in February, she released a trailer for the third-person action game Wanted: Dead. It is being developed by the Japanese Soleil.
