In June, a resident of Yekaterinburg, Andrey Kirsanov, appeared in court on charges of creating cheats that damaged the developers of World of Tanks by 670 million rubles. The results of the proceedings became known today.

Kirsanov pleaded guilty. So he became the first person in Russia accused of committing a cybercrime in the field of the gaming industry.

It is unclear to what punishment he will be sentenced, but the maximum term under this article is 5 years in prison.
