Finnish studio Kitka Games successfully uses the fact that Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is not available in mobile stores. Shortly after the transfer of the sensational royal battle to the fritupley model, downloads of the Stumble Guys game copying it rapidly went up.
Stumble Guys was released on smartphones in September 2020, a month after the release of Fall Guys (also in October 2021, it had a PC version). However, it began to enjoy the greatest popularity this July, when Fall Guys became free. During the month, mobile gamers downloaded the fake 32.8 times and spent $6.6 million in it. The peak of downloads occurred on June 25 — 1.5 million people downloaded Stumble Guys during the day.
This allowed Stumble Guys to also enter the top ten most downloaded games in the American and British Google Play.
According to AppMagic, to date, the clone has collected 163 million downloads and $21.5 million in revenue on mobile.
