Marc Whitten is preparing to leave Unity. The company announced this in a report to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

According to the document, the top manager will work as the director of products and technologies of the Unity Create division until June 1, 2024. After his resignation, Whitten will stay at the company for a while as a strategic adviser and will help his successor settle into his post. He will finally leave Unity on December 31, 2024.

Whitten will not leave empty-handed. According to the report, he will be able to claim a number of payments from Unity totaling $814,801.

The reasons for Whitten's dismissal are not reported.

Whitten joined Unity in February 2021, becoming Senior Vice president of Unity Create. In April 2023, he was promoted to president of Unity Create, and in early 2024, he was transferred to his current position. Prior to Unity, Whitten worked as vice president of entertainment devices and services at Amazon, product Director at Sonos and corporate vice president at Xbox.
