The head of the Polish Ten Square Games Maciej Zhuzhalek (Maciej Żużałek) said this at a meeting with journalists dedicated to the results of the first quarter of 2022.
He reported that quarterly receipts (bookings) in Fishing Clash fell by 27% year-on-year to $22.3 million. Although Hunting Clash had the best quarter in history ($7.6 million), its earnings also decreased in April-May. How much is not specified.
Part of the reason was the departure of Ten Square Games from Russia and Belarus. Last year, Fishing Clash received 6.5% of revenue in these countries, and Hunting Clash – 2.5%. Another important reason is the increased marketing costs.
