DIGIC Pictures, specializing in cinematics for games, has cut 10% of its employees. This is reported by Forbes Hungary.

The animation studio, in response to a request from Forbes Hungary, confirmed the layoffs. DIGIC Pictures explained that they were held as part of the restructuring, which took place in the period from June to September. Before the restructuring, DIGIC Pictures had more than 350 full-time employees and 40-50 specialists with a temporary contract.

DIGIC Pictures stressed that its restructuring began before the restructuring of Embracer Group, the parent company of DIGIC Pictures. The studio also indicated that in 2023, less than 5% of DIGIC Pictures' revenue was related to projects it did for the Embracer Group.
