Recently, a number of former developers of the card game Marvel Snap posted on social networks about layoffs at Second Dinner. Their messages were soon confirmed by the studio's management.

Ben Brode, one of the founders of Second Dinner, shared on the official Marvel Snap Discord server that "several" people had left the team. He admitted that the decision to let them go was difficult but necessary for the studio's future. Brode also emphasized that the layoffs would not affect the further development of the game.

Exactly how many employees at Second Dinner lost their jobs was not specified. As estimated by the portal This Week in Videogames, this could involve at least seven specialists. In the context of the studio, this is a small number, as according to its LinkedIn profile, Second Dinner employs around 200 people in total.
