Avalanche Studios Group announced the closure of two of its five internal studios. They have shut down the divisions in New York and Montreal.

As a result, around 50 people lost their jobs — approximately 9% of the company's workforce.
In an official statement, Avalanche Studios Group called the decision difficult but necessary to ensure the stable and reliable future of the company. They did not specify the exact reasons for the studio closures.
After closing the divisions in New York and Montreal, Avalanche Studios Group still has offices in Stockholm, Malmö, and Liverpool.
