InnoGames is another gaming company that received a subsidy from the German authorities. She was allocated €1.94 million.

The German edition of GamesWirtschaft found information about this in the database of federal subsidies. It is known that the money will go to the development of a mobile game codenamed Projekt 19, the release of which should take place no later than the end of May 2025.

Earlier it became known that Germany has reduced the budget of the program for financing gaming companies. It decreased from €70 million in 2023 to €48.7 million in 2024. Over the past six months, the country’s authorities have provided subsidies to studios such as Piranha Bytes, Black Forest Games and Fishlabs Entertainment. They also allocated €2 million for a new game from the authors of The Lord of the Rings: Gollum, but its development was soon canceled.

InnoGames opened in 2007. The company specializes in mobile and browser games, the most famous of which are Forge of Empires, Elvenar and Tribal Wars.
