Nexon has clarified the situation regarding the studio behind Dave the Diver. The company has refuted rumors about Mintrocket's plans to exit its structure, but some changes are inevitable.

Nexon announced that Mintrocket will be officially registered in South Korea’s business entity database and transformed from a sub-brand into a corporation. Jaeho Hwang, the game director of Dave the Diver, will take the position of CEO at Mintrocket.
As a result of these changes, Mintrocket will become a fully-fledged subsidiary of Nexon Korea.
Nexon explained that changing the business structure will strengthen Mintrocket’s "independent culture," expedite decision-making, and simplify work processes.
