Last fall, one of the founders of MY.GAMES, Vladimir Nikolsky, stepped down as the company's CEO. It has now been disclosed that following this, he started another holding company related to video games.

The establishment of the holding named Utmost Games was highlighted by the newspaper Kommersant. According to information on its official website, it offers strategic support to gaming companies by providing them with investments and consultancy. Utmost Games is registered in Cyprus.

As of today, Utmost Games has made at least two investments.

  • In July 2024, it invested in Digital Vortex Entertainment, a young indie publisher of console and PC games. The company's CEO and co-founder is Alexey Izotov, former head of Astrum Entertainment.
  • In August 2024, Utmost Games invested in Top App Games, a mobile game development studio led by former Studio Nord director Vladimir Markov.

The amount of money and the conditions under which the holding provided funds have not been disclosed in the investment announcements.

Sources from Kommersant suggest that Nikolsky founded Utmost Games to consolidate assets under a single management company. They estimate that the launch of the holding could have cost between $20-40 million.

Nikolsky did not comment on the information provided by Kommersant.
