The sports simulator Undisputed from the indie studio Steel City Interactive (SCI) has surpassed the one million copies sold mark. It became a real hit for the team, who embarked on game development for the first time.

In an interview with GamesIndustry, the studio's founder Ash Habib confessed that the success exceeded their expectations: after a 13-year hiatus in releasing quality boxing games, SCI wanted to create not just a game but also a platform for building a community around this sport.
For development, the studio raised over 15 million pounds. Furthermore, it closely collaborated with official boxing organizations, which allowed many licensed fighters to be included in the game. Habib noted that the number of real boxers in Undisputed is 50% greater than in previous games of the genre.
The company plans to further develop Undisputed. One of the goals is to bring it to the esports market with the support of sports federations.
Undisputed was released in early access on the Steam platform at the beginning of 2023. However, it reached a full release only on October 8th of this year. Currently, Undisputed is available on PC, as well as on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles.
