On September 15, Godot developers announced the launch of the beta test of the fourth version of the engine. A significant part of its functions in one form or another started working in the first alpha, but several innovations were also introduced.
For example, the engine team announced that it was finishing the transition to the platform.NET 6, which supports C#.
The developers advise not to transfer large projects to Godot 4.0 yet, because the engine may work unstable for some time.
