The local indie studio The Bratans has announced a sequel to the game "Rusy vs. Lizards.".
The new installment is positioned as a cooperative hack-and-slash action game about the battles of "valiant heroes" against "sly lizards," who have acquired new "lizard" technologies.
Among the key innovations, aside from the cooperative gameplay, is the ability to ride dinosaurs and hug a white birch tree.
The release of "Rusy vs. Lizards" is scheduled for the first quarter of 2025. The developers themselves will be the publishers, but under the brand Smola Game Studio.
Let us recall, the original game was created by a two-person team over six months during their free time. Its setting is based on a popular meme about the confrontation between ancient Rusy and alien invaders.
As of early December 2023, the game, according to the developers, has sold 350-400 thousand copies, the majority of which were in Russia.
