The Chinese NEKCOM announced its expansion into the international market. The studio decided to start in the USA, where it opened its first foreign office — it is based in Manhattan.

According to the management of NEKCOM, the USA has always been a strategically important region for the studio, and most of its users come from this country. In the future, the developers plan to open a number of foreign branches, but where exactly they will be located is not yet reported.

NEKCOM also announced that it has successfully closed the Series A funding round. She received $8 million, which she is going to spend on her own expansion and development of new games. Note that the studio is currently working on two projects — Showa American Story and DYING: 1983.
