Visual Concepts studio, owned by Take-Two, has laid off some of its employees. It is unknown how many people lost their jobs.

The dismissed developers wrote about the incident in social networks. Judging by their words, the cuts took place in the Texas office of Visual Concepts and affected the development, testing and design departments.

Recall that in February, Take-Two announced plans to reduce annual expenses by $50 million, including through layoffs. A month later, journalist Jason Schreier I found out that the company had reduced staff in the Private Division and some other divisions — Take-Two confirmed the fact of dismissal, but did not share details.

It is also known that during the year layoffs took place at least in Firaxis Games and Popcore Games.
