Metacore studio decided to “resurrect” the Everdale urban planner, which Supercell closed last October. She bought the rights to the title and all its assets for an unknown amount.
According to the head of Metacore, Mika Tammenkoski, Supercell itself offered his studio to acquire Everdale.
It is unknown when Everdale will become available to users again. Also, Metacore does not guarantee that the new version of the game will look exactly like the original.
