More than 12 million people have played Diablo IV. This was announced by the general manager of the series Rod Fergusson (Rod Fergusson) at the Opening Night Live presentation, which opened the Gamescom 2023 exhibition.
Fergusson also noted that gamers spent a total of 1.3 billion hours in Diablo IV.
Blizzard previously reported that by the end of June, the audience of Diablo IV had reached 10 million people, who had played over 700 million hours in total.
On Opening Night Live, the company announced the second season of Diablo IV called “Season of Blood”. It will be dedicated to the fight of humans against vampires. The launch of the season is scheduled for October 17.
