In two months, a new hearing will take place in the scope of the proceedings between Epic Games and Apple. The companies will have 20 minutes each to protest the court decision made a year ago.
Recall that the confrontation between the companies began in August 2020. Then Epic Games gave Fortnite users the opportunity to pay for content directly to developers, bypassing the App Store commission, shortly after which Apple removed the game from the store. In September 2021, the court issued a verdict in the case, rejecting 9 out of 10 claims of Epic Games. However, this decision did not suit either side.
