On October 30, the release of Queen’s Domain took place—a fantasy action RPG with a retro style, set on a mysterious island. Less than a week after its release, the game broke even and began generating profit.
Queen’s Domain
The success of Queen’s Domain was shared in a comment to the portal Vertical Slice by Future Friends Games co-founder Alex Fairwood.
“The game has more than paid for itself. It was developed by just two people, and we are a small, budget-conscious publisher that spends very little money on paid marketing,” Fairwood stated.
Earlier, indie studio Freshly Baked Games announced that in the first five days, Queen’s Domain was purchased by 100,000 people worldwide. They admitted that this result greatly surprised them.
You can play Queen’s Domain on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and Nintendo Switch 2. On Steam, it currently holds an “overwhelmingly positive” rating (95%) based on 2.9 thousand reviews.
