Tekken 7 has sold over 9 million copies. This is a record among the games in the series

Katsuhiro Harada, chief producer of Tekken games, told about the success of the fighting game. He also added that sales of the entire series exceeded 53 million copies.

Note that six months have passed since the last achievement of the game — 8 million copies sold.

Tekken 7 was released in March 2015 on Japanese arcade machines. Two years later, the fighting game also had a more “familiar” version for consoles and PCs.
