The TASS agency noticed that games for PC and PlayStation consoles appeared on online platforms, the release of which in Russia was officially canceled amid sanctions. For example, Gran Turismo 7 and Ghostwire: Tokyo.

In response to a request from journalists, representatives of Wildberries confirmed that the games are delivered by parallel import. At the same time, Ozon did not comment on where the sellers get the discs for sale.

Separately, both marketplaces said that they have increased demand for games. In particular, at Wildberries in the first half of 2022, sales in rubles increased by 3.3 times, and sales in pieces – by 2.7 times. And on Ozon this June, games were bought 69% more often than in June 2021.

Note that this is not the first time that “banned” games are being sold in Russia. Back in April, discs with them could be found in Gamebuy and a number of other stores.
