Strauss Zelnick said in a conversation with investors that he is skeptical about the hype around AI. He does not believe that one day developers will be able to simply write neural networks “create a GTA competitor that will be better than GTA” and get a great game at the output.

At the same time, the head of Take-Two believes that in the future neural networks will simplify the life of developers and reduce the cost of producing games. He compared them to a calculator: creating a calculator did not save people from having to learn math, but made calculations easier.
