British mobile developer Trailmix received $60 million investment from Supercell. Soon after, it also became known that a Finnish company had acquired a majority stake in it. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
It is known that the management of Trailmix will retain their positions, and the studio itself will remain creatively independent.
Trailmix was founded in December 2017 by former top managers of the London division of King. In February 2018, the studio attracted the first investment of $4.2 million from Supercell. So far, she has only one puzzle game on her account, Love & Pies, whose release took place last September.
