Nintendo has announced that Super Mario Bros. Wonder has set a record for the fastest sales among the games of the Super Mario series.
Nintendo President Shuntaro Furukawa pointed out that usually games from the main Mario line have been in demand for a long time. The company expects Super Mario Bros. Wonder will sell well during the winter holidays and next year.
