The media holding Rambler&Co and the service "Kuper" surveyed 32,700 Russians about video games. Here are some figures from the study.

- 38% of respondents play video games.
- A significant portion of surveyed gamers plays relatively little: 25% said they usually spend 1-2 hours a week on video games, and another 21% play for no more than four hours a week.
- The most popular gaming platform is PC (55%). It is followed by mobile devices (24%), PlayStation and Xbox consoles (15%), handheld consoles (2%), retro consoles (2%), and VR headsets (1%).
- Digital gaming products are purchased by 59% of respondents who are gamers. The study's authors classify in-game content, subscriptions, game keys, and even wallet top-ups on Steam and other platforms as such purchases.
- 39% of gamers make such purchases every few months, and only 5% do so daily.
- For the most part, spending on digital gaming products is small. Two-thirds of gamers reported that their monthly budget for such expenses is less than a thousand rubles. 26% are willing to spend 2-5 thousand rubles a month. Another 4% allocate 6-10 thousand rubles a month, and an equal 4% allocate more than 10 thousand rubles a month.
- Most often, Russian gamers purchase in-game currency and bonuses (22%). Game keys rank second in popularity (16%). They are followed by options for topping up gaming accounts (14%), subscriptions (8%), DLCs and battle passes (5%), as well as cosmetic items (2%).
