The gaming studio Midnight Society announced it is ending its collaboration with streamer Guy Beahm, known as Dr Disrespect. It did so shortly after former Twitch employees revealed to the media an explicit correspondence between the streamer and a minor — allegedly the reason why Twitch banned Dr Disrespect in 2020.

The studio acknowledged that it has no evidence of Dr Disrespect's guilt, but it needed to respond to the situation to "maintain its principles and standards — both as a studio and as individuals."
Dr Disrespect himself denied the claims of former Twitch employees. He posted on X, stating he did nothing illegal. Later, the streamer announced that he plans to take a break from streaming and working at Midnight Society, as he feels burnt out and wants to rest.
