Square Enix decided to help employees cope with rising prices in Japan. She announced that she will pay a higher salary from April.

The base salary of current full-time employees will increase by 10%. The salary of new employees who will get a job at Square Enix immediately after graduation will increase by 27% at once.

At the beginning of the year, Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida called on companies to raise employee salaries amid rising inflation in the country. His words did not go unnoticed. In particular, Nintendo and SEGA have improved wages.
