Hazelight Studios, founded by Josef Fares, announced on their Bluesky social media account that the cooperative adventure game Split Fiction has sold two million copies.

In the post, it is mentioned that these are the sales figures for the game in its first week. It reached the one-million mark in just three days. The game was released on March 6 for the three major "big" platforms — PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series.

As we reported last Monday, March 10, the current sales pace of the game is a record for Hazelight Studios. For example, the company's previous hit — the family-friendly It Takes Two — took a month to sell a million copies.

Considering the current sales pace, along with a very warm reception from the press and players (Steam rating — 97%), the new release could easily sell as many copies as It Takes Two over the next four years, which since its launch in 2021, has reached 23 million sales.
