The British studio Space Ape Games has followed in the footsteps of its largest shareholder Supercell. She announced that on November 29, she would remove the Boom Beach: Frontlines game from mobile stores, and on January 16, 2023, she would turn off her servers.

As the developers explained, the game did not meet expectations. In addition, it required more expenses than the studio was willing to incur.

Boom Beach: Frontlines was released as part of the softlonch in June 2021. According to AppMagic, since then it has raised $440.4 thousand on IAP and collected 2 million downloads.
