The PUBG developer received an award as part of the Export Tower Award, an award held under the supervision of the Ministry of Commerce of South Korea. It is awarded to companies that contribute most to the development of exports.
Krafton is the only gaming company from South Korea that has earned over $1 billion outside the country this year.
The award did not affect Krafton’s shares in any way. Note that since December 2 (with the release of The Callisto Protocol), they have fallen in price by 18%.
