The South African Film and Publication Council, which is responsible for the classification and regulation of media content in the country, has tightened recommendations regarding the interaction of children with games.

The censor believes that children under the age of 10 should not play without adult supervision. The rating of the game does not matter. Even PG projects, according to the country’s officials, can be harmful to children.

There are no games for all ages,” the updated 40—page rulebook says, designed for qualification committees whose authority it is to ban films and games on the territory of the country.
