Three gaming companies were included in dev.by's sample — Wargaming, Melsoft, and Belka Games. Here’s how their employee numbers in Lithuania have changed compared to the beginning of the year:

  • Wargaming — decreased from 914 to 896 employees (-1.96%);
  • Melsoft — decreased from 257 to 215 employees (-16.3%);
  • Belka Games — decreased from 78 to 65 employees (-16.6%).

According to dev.by, IT companies in Lithuania are reducing their workforce against the backdrop of global market problems. Additionally, companies from Belarus have found it harder to conduct business in Lithuania due to the political situation.
