Atlus has announced that the sales of Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance — the expanded version of the original fifth installment — have exceeded half a million copies. It took three days to achieve this.

The company also reported that the total sales of Shin Megami Tensei V (original + Vengeance) amount to 1.6 million copies. It's worth noting that the original Shin Megami Tensei V surpassed the 1 million copies mark in April 2022, five months after its release, becoming the best-selling installment of the series, excluding the spin-offs under the Persona title.
Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance was released on June 14, 2024, on PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, and Xbox.
