Game developers continue to form unions. This time, a group of 144 employees of the American division of SEGA announced plans to form an association.
Activists released a statement in which they said that almost a third of the long-time employees working at SEGA of America cannot get a full-time job at the company and have no right to go on paid leave. They hope that the union will help change the situation.
SEGA of America employees also want to achieve a salary increase for all employees of the company, improve working conditions and increase staff, thanks to which it will be possible to “put an end to overworking.”
SEGA management did not comment on the plans of employees.
