The developers of Sea of Stars are very happy with the start of the game. Sabotage Studio reported that on the release day, the turn-based retro RPG sold 100 thousand copies.
Sea of Stars has received high marks from both players and critics. It has 91% positive reviews on Steam, and the rating on Metacritic, depending on the platform, ranges from 88 to 90 points out of 100. The game is praised for its style inspired by classic JRPGs of the 90s, excellent graphics and soundtrack, as well as an interesting plot.
Sea of Stars, released on August 29, is available on PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch. It is also part of the Game Pass and PS Plus subscriptions.
