FromSoftware and Activision reported that the number of copies sold of Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice exceeded 10 million. The game overcame this milestone four and a half years after its release.
The companies did not specify how the sales were distributed across the platforms.
Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice was released in March 2019 on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Less than ten days later, it sold 2 million copies, and by July 2020, its sales had grown to 5 million copies. In October 2020, the game also appeared on the now-closed cloud platform Stadia.
