Square Enix has announced that the games of the Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster series have sold a total of over 3 million copies.
The series consists of pixel remasters of the first six Final Fantasy. She overcame the milestone of 2 million copies sold in May 2023.
The release of remasters of the first three games of the series took place in July 2021. The updated Final Fantasy IV was released in September of the same year, Final Fantasy V — in November, and Final Fantasy VI — in February 2022. At first, remasters were only available on mobile devices and PC, but in 2023 they appeared on PlayStation 4 with Nintendo Switch.
