According to Sony Interactive Entertainment, the new Insomniac Games project has become the fastest-selling game in the history of PlayStation Studios.
For comparison, the original Marvel's Spider-Man sold 3.3 million copies in the first three days since its release. And the previous record holder, God of War Ragnarök, overcame the milestone of 5 million copies sold in five days.
Marvel's Spider-Man 2, which is available exclusively on PlayStation 5, was released on October 20. The game received rave reviews from the press — its average score on Metacritic was 91/100.
