SEGA has announced that Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth has become the fastest-selling game in the series. The new Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio has crossed the first millionth milestone in a week since its release on January 25.

It is not specified how sales were distributed across platforms. The game is available on PC, PlayStation and Xbox.
Famitsu analysts also reported that Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth topped the Japanese retail chart for the week of January 22-28. Physical sales of the PlayStation version alone totaled 180,074 copies. Sales of the Xbox version were not disclosed.
Previously, Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth reached the highest online Steam in the history of the series. According to SteamDB, 46,161 people were in the game at the peak at the same time. This is more than three times more than that of the previously leading Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name. Its peak online was 13,737 people.
